Come, Sip, Shop

CANCELLED

At this time, based upon recommendations from the Center for Disease Control to limit gatherings of 50 or more people, we have decided to cancel the upcoming Come, Sip, Shop event.

Refunds will be issued starting today.

We are disappointed in the cancellation but would like to keep the safety and health of every individual in consideration. At this time, we have not rescheduled for this event.

Piccadilly Gala

POSTPONED

At this time, based upon recommendations from Center for Disease Control to limit gatherings, we have made a decision to postpone Piccadilly Fiesta 2020. We are currently looking for available dates and will be announcing our new date in a few weeks. All tickets previously purchased will still be valid. If you are unable to attend the event, we will work on refunds once the new date has been set. Thank you for understanding and we will be sure to throw quite the Fiesta once we have more details in the future.

Prom Parade

April 18th, 2020

Join Warrensburg Main Street on April 18th, at 5pm as they roll out the red carpet down Pine street for our first annual Prom Parade!

Come gather down our parade route to help create a paparazzi feel for these show-stopping Prom goers. Prom Parade participants will have multiple photo stops available and special downtown dining available through reservations.

Enter into our Promposal Contest for a chance to win!
1st place: $50 Giftcard to Downtown Restaurant
2nd place: $25 off corsage or boutonniere

Submissions will be accepted from March 9th until April 5th at midnight.

Voting will open April 7th until 10th at midnight.
Votes will be accepted through Facebook and Instagram.

Spring Day of Caring

Warrensburg Main Street’s annual Downtown Beautification is a one day event that focuses on the beautification and revitalization of the downtown area. The Missouri Main Street Association recognized Warrensburg Main Street for its efforts in making our downtown a better place by naming the Day of Caring the Outstanding Special Project of 2013. We are never finished improving our community. If you would like to volunteer, or wish to receive more information about the Day of Caring please email us at wburgmainstreet@gmail.com.

Historic Walk

May 14th, 2020

Take a stroll into downtown Warrensburg’s unique history! This evening you will learn about important historical buildings and locations throughout the downtown area. Meeting at the Old Drum statue in front of the courthouse, Joe Jokubeit will present an authentic representation of the “Eulogy of the Dog” that was originally given in 1870.

Farm To Table

This year’s Farm to Table is going to be a great one! Tickets go on sale on Saturday, May 4 at the first Farmers’ Market. We will have 100 tickets available at $100 each*. This year, we will have a 3 course meal with 3 wine pairings, all prepared by 3 area chefs from fresh, local produce. The Nace Brothers Acoustic Trio will provide music throughout the meal for a beautiful ambience. It’s going to be a wonderful evening, so please join us! *Must be 21 or older to purchase ticket & attend.

4th of July Parade

July 4th, 2020

Bring the whole family to take part in the patriotic fun. Participants are encouraged to decorate their wagons, trikes, bikes, pets or even themselves to take part in the parade. Special prizes, a bounce house, games, face painting and more will be available before and after the parade. The parade is free to the public and there are no registration fees. This event is a partnership between Warrensburg Parks and Recreation and Warrensburg Main Street.

LWL Sidewalk Sale

August 14th - 15th, 2020

The purpose of the LWL Campaign is to educate the consumer of the significance of purchasing local goods and using local services so we want to encourage our retail businesses, but ALL businesses, are able to participate in this two day event! The FOCUS: to keep our dollars local

Burg Fest

September 25th - 26th, 2020

Warrensburg Main Street is bringing Burg Fest to the streets of downtown Warrensburg. This 2 day festival will feature a variety of activities. There will be a return of the kids bounce zone with new and exciting additions this year. There will also be a performance stage with live music, beer garden, car show, street vendors and much more. Downtown Trick or Treat

October 30th, 2020

Warrensburg’s annual downtown Trick or Treat is a safe alternative for families as they walk through the downtown area and receive candy and treats from participating local merchants.

Come join us as we continue the tradition started over 15 years ago! The downtown Trick or Treat has become a must-attend event for local families on Halloween. Every year the streets of downtown Warrensburg fill up with costumed children in search of candy! Stop by the downtown district to stock up on goodies before knocking on your neighbor’s doors!

Holiday Open House

November 6th - 7th, 2020

Those who visit participating Holiday Open House locations will enjoy something sweet while they shop and browse at local businesses, restaurants, and organizations. Several businesses will also include special offers or other holiday cheer. This two day event is sponsored by Love What’s Local, City of Warrensburg, Warrensburg Main Street and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce.

Dickens Christmas

The store fronts of Downtown Warrensburg will be brought to life by local artists during Dickens Christmas! This day long event will include horse and wagon rides, carolers strolling down the streets, live music in local businesses, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony and much more.
