This day long event will include horse and wagon rides, carolers strolling down the streets, live music in local businesses, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony and much more.

Warrensburg Main Street’s annual Downtown Beautification is a one day event that focuses on the beautification and revitalization of the downtown area. The Missouri Main Street Association recognized Warrensburg Main Street for its efforts in making our downtown a better place by naming the Day of Caring the Outstanding Special Project of 2013. Take a stroll into downtown Warrensburg’s unique history! This evening you will learn about important historical buildings and locations throughout the downtown area. Meeting at the Old Drum statue in front of the courthouse, Joe Jokubeit will present an authentic representation of the “Eulogy of the Dog” that was originally given in 1870.

Farm To Table

This year’s Farm to Table is going to be a great one! Tickets go on sale on Saturday, May 4 at the first Farmers’ Market. We will have 100 tickets available at $100 each*. This year, we will have a 3 course meal with 3 wine pairings, all prepared by 3 area chefs from fresh, local produce. The Nace Brothers Acoustic Trio will provide music throughout the meal for a beautiful ambience. It’s going to be a wonderful evening, so please join us! *Must be 21 or older to purchase ticket & attend.

Burg Uncorked


Due to a scheduling conflict with our wineries and the many events occurring in June, the Burg Uncorked event is being rescheduled. We will have more information soon. 4th of July Parade

July 4

Bring the whole family to take part in the patriotic fun. Participants are encouraged to decorate their wagons, trikes, bikes, pets or even themselves to take part in the parade. Special prizes, a bounce house, games, face painting and more will be available before and after the parade. The parade is free to the public and there are no registration fees. This event is a partnership between Warrensburg Parks and Recreation and Warrensburg Main Street.

Registration and pre-parade fun at the Johnson County Downtown Courthouse Lawn starts at 9:30 a.m. and the parade will begin at 10 a.m.

Sounds of Summer Concert

Live, outdoor music is the epitome of summer. Come out and enjoy a FREE outdoor concert featuring the music of Wyatt And Waters from 6-8pm and Bluestem taking the stage from 9-11pm. Pine Street will be closed from Holden St. to Washington St. from 5:00pm to 12:00am. There will be open container on Pine Street ONLY. We can’t wait to see you all out there!

Burg Fest

Warrensburg Main Street is bringing Burg Fest to the streets of downtown Warrensburg. This 2 day festival will feature a variety of activities will take place on September 27-28 2019. There will be a return of the kids bounce zone with new and exciting additions this year. There will also be a performance stage with live music, beer garden, car show, street vendors and much more. Downtown Trick or Treat

Warrensburg’s annual downtown Trick or Treat is a safe alternative for families as they walk through the downtown area and receive candy and treats from participating local merchants.

Come join us as we continue the tradition started over 15 years ago! The downtown Trick or Treat has become a must-attend event for local families on Halloween. Every year the streets of downtown Warrensburg fill up with costumed children in search of candy! Stop by the downtown district to stock up on goodies before knocking on your neighbor’s doors!

Sweet Treat Trail

The Sweet Treat Trail and Holiday Open Houses will be Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9. Those who visit participating Sweet Treat Trail locations will enjoy something sweet while they shop and browse at local businesses, restaurants, and organizations. Several businesses will also include special offers or other holiday cheer. Sweet Treat Trail guides will be available at the offices of Warrensburg Main Street, Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and participating businesses.

Every participating location will have a special sign or flyer in their window letting visitors know what days and times they are participating in this festive holiday promotion. This is a fun way to start the holiday season by loving what’s local and supporting local businesses in Warrensburg. The two day event is sponsored by Love What’s Local, City of Warrensburg, Warrensburg Main Street and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce.
