Downtown Warrensburg, Missouri’s a Dickens’ Christmas is on December 3rd from 10am – 3pm! Watch Downtown Warrensburg transform back into the 1840’s when Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” was published. You’ll see carolers fill the streets, artisans and makers fill the windows and we’ll travel back in time for Christmas fun!
Start your adventure with the arrival of Father Christmas at the historic train station at 9:34AM. Then take the opportunity to ride through downtown in a horse and carriage with a cup of hot cocoa or roasted chestnuts from an open fire. Enjoy the downtown holiday atmosphere with traditional Dickens’ era costumes walking the streets and carols filling the air.
Businesses will be full of artists demonstrating traditional crafts and traits like glass blowing, paper making, crochet and woodworking and so much more.
