Organization

The Organization Committee champions the mission and vision of Warrensburg Main Street by building relationships with stakeholders and encouraging investment in Downtown Warrensburg. Committee members play a vital role in recruiting, engaging, and recognizing volunteers who help advance the organization’s goals. They also collaborate on developing creative fundraising opportunities and assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns. Through their efforts, the Organization Committee helps strengthen the foundation, sustainability, and community support of Warrensburg Main Street.

The Organization Committee meets the Fourth Thursday of each month at 8:30 am | Magnolia Market, 313 N Holden Street, Warrensburg MO 64093.

Projects Include: Annual Award & Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, Fundraising Planning & Strategy, Incubator Guidelines & Implementation, Property Management, Volunteer Recruitment Opportunities

Design

The design committee works to enhance the visual attractiveness of Downtown Warrensburg through a series of projects which include but are not limited to; facade improvement, downtown cleanliness, and public art. They brainstorm ways to capitalize on the unique character of our historic buildings and community spaces. The committee works to create an inviting atmosphere through signage, sidewalks, landscaping, and any other way to enhance the economic drive.

The Design Committee meets at 5:30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at Fitters, 131 W Pine St, Warrensburg MO.

Projects Include: Dog-Friendly Downtown Projects, Downtown Holiday Decor, Downtown Clean Ups, Historic Preservation Activities, Beautification Projects & Maintenance, Facade Grant & Resources.

Promotion

The Promotion Committee works to create a vibrant and welcoming image for Downtown Warrensburg by showcasing its businesses, events, and attractions. Committee members help plan and support community events, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities that encourage residents and visitors to shop, dine, and explore Downtown. Through their creativity and enthusiasm, these volunteers help increase awareness, drive foot traffic, and strengthen community pride while supporting the economic vitality of the district.

The Promotions Committee meets at 5 pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month at various Downtown Warrensburg locations.

Projects Include: Promotional Merchandise, Themed Community Events, Art & Music Focused Activities and Events, Holiday Programming, and Downtown Marketing Initiatives.

Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality Committee focuses on strengthening Downtown Warrensburg’s economy by supporting existing businesses, encouraging new investment, and identifying opportunities for growth. Committee members help develop strategies that enhance the district’s economic health, assist with business retention and recruitment efforts, and promote resources that help entrepreneurs and property owners succeed. Through their work, these volunteers help create a thriving and sustainable downtown that benefits businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

The Economic Vitality Committee meets at 8:30 am on the first Tuesday of each month at Magnolia Market, 313 N Holden Street, Warrensburg MO 64093.

Projects Include: Business Recruitment & Retention Efforts, Resource Development for Entrepreneurs, Promotional Tools, Data Collection and Marketing Strategies, Small Business Support and Market-Based Initiatives.

The Farmers’ Market committee comes together to strategize marketing and promotional ideas to attract a variety of consumers to the Farmers’ Market. This committee plans and creates additional funding opportunities to grow the market and attract vendors.

The Farmers’ Market Committee meets at 5:00 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month at Warrensburg Main Street office at 125c N Holden St.

Projects Include: Moonlight Markets, Market Theme Days, Farmers’ Market Fundraisers, Promotional Items, Additional activities, and entertainment
