These four points work together to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort. Each point holds an important piece to help support and build a stable organization. Organization

The Organization committee’s primary goal is to advocate the mission and vision of Warrensburg Main Street while finding stakeholders to invest in Downtown. These volunteers play an important role in recruiting and recognizing volunteers. They also help think of creative fundraising opportunities, fundraiser planning, and execution.

The Organization Committee meets the First Thursday of each month at 4 pm | Warrensburg Main Street’s office, 125c North Holden St.

Projects Include: Annual Award & Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, Fundraising Planning & Strategy, Incubator Guidelines & Implementation, Property Management, Volunteer Recruitment Opportunities

Design

The design committee works to enhance the visual attractiveness of Downtown Warrensburg through a series of projects which include but are not limited to; facade improvement, downtown cleanliness, and public art. They brainstorm ways to capitalize on the unique character of our historic buildings and community spaces. The committee works to create an inviting atmosphere through signage, sidewalks, landscaping, and any other way to enhance the economic drive.

The Design Committee meets at 6 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Old Barney’s located at 112 Hout Street, Warrensburg MO.

Projects Include: Dog-Friendly Downtown Projects, Downtown Holiday Decor, Downtown Clean Ups, Historic Preservation Activites, Beautification Projects & Maintenance, Facade Grant & Resources.

Promotion

This committee projects a positive, unified image of Downtown by marketing the unique opportunities to shoppers, investors, new businesses, visitors, and locals. Our committee plans and creates this image through community events, marketing Downtown Warrensburg and bringing people into our businesses.

The Promotions Committee meets at 5 pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Warrensburg Main Street’s office, 125c North Holden St.

Projects Include: Promotional Swag, Prom Parade, Beer Wine & Spirit Stroll, Summer Movie Nights, Patriotic Bike, Moonlight Market Concerts, Halloween Event, Holiday Parade, Dickens’ Christmas Event, & Jingle Bell Crew Crawl

Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality Committee works to analyze and identify new market opportunities, encourage investment in properties, and collect valuable resources for economic development. They also play an active role in business expansion, retention and recruitment.

The Economic Vitality Committee meets at 8:30 am on the first Tuesday of each month at Old Drum Coffeehouse, 211 N Holden St.

Projects Include: Downtown Shopping & Dining Guide, Downtown Data Collection & Promotion, Incentive Guide for Business Recruitment, New Business & Small Business Week Recognition activities, & Farmers Market initiatives.

The Farmers’ Market committee comes together to strategize marketing and promotional ideas to attract a variety of consumers to the Farmers’ Market. This committee plans and creates additional funding opportunities to grow the market and attract vendors.

The Farmers’ Market Committee meets at 5:00 pm on the fourth Thursday of each month at Warrensburg Main Street office at 125c N Holden St.

Projects Include: Moonlight Markets, Market Theme Days, Farmers’ Market Fundraisers, Promotional Items, Additional activities, and entertainment
