Jamie was born and raised in Warrensburg, Missouri. As the daughter of a downtown business owner, she understands the importance of supporting local businesses and fostering community growth. Watching her mother build a successful career inspired Jamie to pursue a degree in Business Administration. She attended the University of Central Missouri, earning her BSBA in 2016. During college, she dedicated her time to leadership roles in her sorority, the admissions office, and the homecoming committee, where her passion for event planning took root. After graduation, Jamie gained hands-on experience in event coordination through a wedding internship in the Saint Louis area. While she appreciated the intricacies of event design, she realized her true passion lay in community development. This led her back to Warrensburg, where she first joined her local organization as an Event Coordinator.
Since then, Jamie has advanced through leadership roles, becoming Assistant Director in 2021 and taking on the role of Executive Director in January 2024. In her current position, she leverages her expertise in event planning and marketing to empower her team and drive economic growth.
