Warrensburg Main Street Hosting Final Third Wednesday Art Walk of the Season

Warrensburg, Mo. (September 12, 2025) — Warrensburg Main Street invites the community to the final installment of the 2025 Third Wednesday Art Walk series. This month’s theme, Stitchin’ in September, will take place on Wednesday, September 17th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Downtown Warrensburg.

The Third Wednesday Art Walks are designed to create an evening in Downtown Warrensburg where attendees can experience local art, connect with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere while supporting Downtown businesses. Guests are encouraged to extend their evening by dining, shopping, and exploring downtown, further boosting local businesses.

September’s Art Walk will highlight the world of fiber and textile arts. Visitors can explore embroidery, quilting, weaving, crochet, and other hand-crafted textiles, alongside more than 30 regular vendors offering a variety of art, crafts, and locally made creations. The September theme celebrates the creativity and skill that goes into traditional and modern fiber arts, giving attendees the chance to learn, shop, and be inspired.

“Each Art Walk gives us the opportunity to highlight a different creative medium,” says Warrensburg Main Street Program Coordinator, Waymon Hollister. “Stitchin’ in September is a way to honor the artistry of fiber and textile work while closing out our 2025 season on a high note.”

Attendees can browse vendor booths, enjoy demonstrations, and take in the extended shopping hours. Participating downtown shops such as Moonlit Petrichor, Magnolia Market, Abby’s Aesthetic, Gunzil & Bowser Children’s Bookstore, Awesome Blossoms, and Revival Clothing and Decor will remain open later than usual to welcome visitors, with individual store hours varying.

The Third Wednesday Art Walk series fosters connection between artists, small businesses, and the public. By featuring a different art form each month, the event brings renewed energy and creativity to the Downtown district. Stitchin’ in September concludes the 2025 series with a celebration of fiber artistry that encourages curiosity, craftsmanship, and community connection.

The 2025 Third Wednesday Art Walk series has been made possible by the support of The City of Warrensburg, Equity Bank, and The Next Door Agents. Their commitment to the arts and to downtown has helped bring these events to life and support the vitality of downtown Warrensburg.
