THINGS THAT FLY
ART PROJECT

ALL ARTIST SUBMISSIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY SEPTEMBER 15th, 2021

Warrensburg Main Street is seeking youth artists to submit unique art for an upcoming art project in Downtown Warrensburg called Things the Fly! Warrensburg Main Street’s art committee and staff want to continue to add community art to The Alley! We are seeking creative minds to interpret Thing the Fly into Art! This can be anything from transportation to an animal to creative imaginary figures. These pieces of art will then be submitted to a public contest and the winners will be printed onto a permanent sticker and added to The Alley. 

Submissions must follow the guidelines below. Submissions will be due on September 15th at 11:59 pm. 

GUIDELINES

The Art Committee will then narrow down the submissions to 10-20 which will then be voted on during Burg Fest on October 2nd. Winners will be asked to take a photo for social media and press reasons with their winning submissions.

 

  • Must be 18 or under to participate
  • One submission per child or youth
  • Artwork should be no larger than 8.5 x 11in (Standard Letter Paper)
  • Artwork must be 2D but no restrictions on mediums

2021 DOWNTOWN
SPOOKTACULAR

DEADLINE TO PARTICIPATE: OCTOBER 15th, 2021

Warrensburg Main Street is looking for organizations, community groups, clubs, and individuals to help create fall/Halloween activities and games for our Downtown Spooktacular on October 30th from 10 am – 12 pm.

GUIDELINES

All supplies, signage, instructions, and volunteering must be provided by a personal group/organization. Game/Activity must be manned during the entire time of the event. Set up can begin at 9 am. No monetary fundraising.

Activities/Games Must:

  • Include participation candy or prizes
    • (i.e bouncy balls, stickers, paddleballs, coloring books, pencils, erasers)
  • Family/Kid Friendly Safe for children 12 & below
  • No larger than 10×10
  • Non-electric
