Whether it’s a simple thank you\, a heartfelt shoutout\, or a note about what you love most\, your words matter. We’ll collect these messages and display them on heart cutouts posted on business doors throughout downtown—spreading encouragement\, appreciation\, and connection all season long. \nOn February 7\, we’ll host our first official I Heart Downtown Day. Community members are encouraged to come downtown to write and deliver their own messages\, volunteer\, and help us “sprinkle” Downtown Warrensburg with love. Participating businesses will also be sharing the love back by offering special deals or promotions that day. \nLet’s be honest—we could all use a little more love\, whether we’re giving it or receiving it. SUMMARY:Preserving Our History - Photography Contest

To celebrate National Historic Preservation Month\, we are capturing the beauty of today’s history. Photographs of buildings\, architecture\, and historic places are encouraged to be taken in Downtown Warrensburg and submitted for our contest. \nThe Photography contest will take place from May 1st – July 15th. Submissions will be accepted through Warrensburg Main Street’s online form. On July 18th\, all photo submissions will be uploaded online for voting. The voting will end on July 24th\, and the winners will be announced on July 25th. The top three photographs from our contest will be made into Warrensburg Souvenirs. All photographs will be collected in Main Street’s Building gallery and used throughout social media for educational purposes.
